My client is a top flight multinational electrical manufacturer in the Australian electrical arena, supplying top quality LV and MV electrical products through to Electrical Contractors, OEMs, Consultants, Utilities, Wholesalers, Switchboard Builders and End Users. In existence for more than a century and operating out of more than 100 countries across the globe, they are an iconic & entrenched leading name in the Electrical Industry Worldwide.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Due to forecast growth and expansion, a new Sales Engineer’s position has become available in Sydney. Your responsibilities will include; liaising with Contractors, Consultants & End Users in the Utility (Water/Power), Transport (Ports/Rail) & Infrastructure sectors throughout Sydney, promoting the company’s range of MV and LV Power Distribution products. You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of accounts, as well as prospecting for potential new business opportunities through these verticals, whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service & technical support.
CANDIDATE
Your background will ideally include; proven & successful external technical sales experience within the Electrical Industry. You will have a strong technical aptitude, ideally supported by tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or minimum trade requirements. Experience with MV switchgear will also be highly regarded, but is not essential. You will possess excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills. You will be energetic, enthusiastic & self motivated, with a proven and demonstrated history of selling through to the NSW Utility market.
REWARDS
The successful applicant will receive a base salary of $80,000-$85,000 + Super + Incentives, plus a Fully Maintained Company Vehicle or $18K Vehicle Allowance, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a Leading Multinational Manufacturer in the Electrical Game!!!!!
