• Infrastructure Director – 5 year contract
Design & Build are currently working in an exclusive partnership with Alpine Shire Council and are now inviting applications for the role of Infrastructure Director. Located in the north eastern part of Victoria and home to over 13,000 residents this Shire is experiencing a period of significant growth and development that makes it the perfect time to join the executive team.
Working within the Infrastructure directorate, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be tasked with overseeing, managing and developing an integrated and strategic approach for the operation and delivery of services within the Shire. Providing strong and innovative leadership to three departments, which will encompass road infrastructure, maintenance & construction, emergency management, plant & fleet management, asset and waste management you will be looked upon to encourage and embrace a working environment that allows staff initiative and participation in the delivery of council services.
As a Senior Manager you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in business and/or engineering discipline
• Extensive experience at a senior management level with exposure to engineering, asset management, capital works and waste management functions
• Ideally, previous exposure within local government at management level
