The successful candidate will work under the leadership of Professor Bob White on a well-formulated, significant and original project concerning emotions in early modern literature or drama in English, preferably leading to a monograph. The candidate must have qualifications that make this a likely outcome. Applicants must have a PhD in some aspect of early modern literature.
