This leading government agency is committed to protecting the environment and the communities of Sydney through the delivery of efficient services is looking for a Health & Safety, Project Officer to join their team.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Improvement Manager you will be an integral part of a specialist project team charged with the development and importantly, the timely delivery of project plans and procurement that impact on safety initiatives across operational areas.
You will have an in-depth knowledge and experience working with Health & Safety Management Systems and demonstrated experience in contract management and procurement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Very strong project management, planning and strategy skills
• Facilitation and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead change and support new program initiatives
Well regarded would be a sound understanding of Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures, safety auditing skills, experience in implementing cognitive based safety and research & development skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience deemed equivalent, WorkCover Construction Safety OHS Induction card and a current driver’s licence, are essential.
