We are currently seeking a financial accountant. This is a newly created role as a result of new business acquisitions. Reporting into the Finance Manager, as the financial accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining quality and efficiency in the financial reporting process as well as acting in a key support role to the Financial Accounting Manager. You will provide technical advice and input on accounting matters including the application of IFRS standards and tax effect accounting and be responsible for supervising, developing and mentoring junior accounting staff.
You must have completed CPA or CA and have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a listed or large corporate entity. This would also suit someone in Big 4 or Chartered seeking their first move in commerce. Demonstrable history of maintaining professional development.
