Located in St Leonards, we require an AV Assistant to help our AV Project Manager and Audio Engineer in a variety of projects. We need a pro-active individual that is happy to be involved in a variety of tasks from basic through to more advanced, with a willingness to learn about all aspects of our production process.
You will be working for Best Practice Productions that are an in-house production company who develop the media / AV solutions for the CPD.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum one day / week but will require flexibility to work up to three days / week on as-needs basis – flexibility of hours required relating to recording of events.
Recording audio on set and monitoring throughout
Setting up AV records
Basic editing using ProTools
Administration / Production Manuals / Archiving
Required Knowledge & Experience
Mac & PC Competent
Good basic grounding and experience in Protools
Digital Mixing Desk
Understanding of the production process from recording through to post-production
Some experience with AV operations preferred but willingness to learn sufficient
Must be reliable for time critical tasks
Installation experience
