Concept to Commissioning. Right now we are working on major projects in Western Australia and across the world.
The Opportunity
The Global Mining Business is PB’s newest, and most exciting, business unit. As a result of our strategic/growth plans we require a suitably experienced Study Manager to join the team in a Perth based role.
The Study Manager will play an influential role in helping to further develop Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Global Mining business within the Western Australian market primarily, but with opportunities to assist on pursuits within our other markets.
As a Study Manager you will:
• Select and lead discipline managers
• Lead pursuits of new projects in consultation with project development
• With discipline managers procures the numerous discipline inputs to the study.
• Executes the study in accordance with agreed requirements (Client and or PB)
• Point of contact and company representative for client
• Co-ordinate all study activities
• Manage interfaces across disciplines, engineering, optimise outcomes to meet clients’ strategic objectives
• Ensure project study control systems are in place to manage time, cost, and quality; and take proactive action to ensure delivery to expectations
• Review and edit documents
For Success
To succeed in this role will you will have/be:
• High level understanding of Project Controls and Environmental Controls
• High level understanding of contract package strategy
• Experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams
• Past experience managing major resources studies
• Must have familiarity with the WA Resources sector
• Excellent time management
• Excellent people skills
