Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited is a growing Australian company and successful provider of Electrical and Instrumentation Installation services to the Industrial, Mining, Resources Processing and Oil and Gas industries throughout Australia and Internationally.

HSE Advisor – Contract

Due to continuous growth Southern Cross Electrical Engineering is offering opportunities for 2 experienced HSE Advisors to work on a 3 – 6 month site based contract.

The position will be based at the project site within the Chinchilla region, on a 3 week on / 1 week off roster cycle. This position requires Advisors with strong HSE compliance experience.

Your key responsibilities will
include:
• Supporting the development of key HSE deliverables, reviews and reports.
• Developing and implementing the health, safety and risk management programs, processes and controls.
• Assisting the Manager to implement HSE strategies, initiatives and provide HSE advice.

Essential criteria:
• Have experience working on site, preferably in an Oil and Gas construction environment;
• Have appropriate qualifications in occupational health and safety;
• Have a sound knowledge of Australian occupational health and safety acts and regulations;
• Have a proven record in management of HSE teams and achieving HSE contract deliverables;
• Have the relevant computer skills in Microsoft office programs;
• Have a commitment to strive for excellence.
Proven experience, confidence in your abilities and a drive to succeed will be highly regarded.
