The Client:
This highly respected and professional family
trust, sits at the beginning of an exciting growth phase.   Expansion
has resulted in a need to add a Financial Accountant to the focussed and
results driven team. 

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Group Accountant, the Financial
Accountant will be pivotal to the growth and success of the company’s
investments and wealth creation as well as assisting in the management of the
SMSF.
The Duties:
  • Managing the investment portfolio
  • Analysis and reporting of investment growth
    • Share Portfolio Individual & Family
      Trusts
    • Listed and Non-Listed Assets
  • Consolidated financial statements
  • Multi entity/trust reporting
  • SMSF
    • Management of outsourcing
    • Ensure on-time performance reporting
  • Assist in statutory and legislative
    requirements
  • Reporting financials for stakeholder review
  • Ad hoc duties as required
The Candidate:
You will have recent experience in a similar role
where your focus and drive allowed you to achieve deadlines with minimal
supervision. Working closely with the relevant stakeholders, your
confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness are critical to achieving the results
required. You are flexible, calm and highly adaptable with a keen sense of team
work and your ability to differentiate between important and urgent is a major strength. 
Not one to shy away from challenges and very hands-on, you are comfortable
enough to question and discuss better ways of doing things. Excellent
communication coupled with the ability to present in a professional manner has
seen you respected by your peers.
CPA / CA qualified
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Xero experience preferred however, experience with
other accounting packages such as MYOB, Reckon Accounts will be considered.
