the heart of the city, is the ideal year round holiday destination. Walking
distance to safe swimming beaches, this park is close to the charming seaside
suburb of Semaphore and the attractions of historic Port Adelaide.
As a couple, we are looking for a couple who will provide support to the Park
Managers and assist in the responsibility for the smooth functioning of the
Park in the absence of the Managers. This role requires a hands on approach,
flexibility with shifts and the ability to lead and direct a team of staff, in
achieving daily outcomes.
The successful applicants will need
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a great understanding of front
office and housekeeping operations; and
• The ability to undertake general repairs and maintenance within a tourist
park. A trade certificate will be highly regarded.
Knowledge, skills and attributes essential for this role include:
• A focus on providing excellent customer service at all times;
• Computer literate;
• Understanding of OH&S responsibilities;
• Flexible attitude to work and work hours;
• Excellent communication skills at all levels;
• Good people and relationship building skills; and
• Prepared to work with Park Managers in a rostered hours system.
Common tasks performed by an Assistant Manager include but are not limited
to:
• Grounds maintenance, gardening and general accommodation repairs;
• Monitoring of guest accounts and administrative functions;
• Reception duties, answering the telephone, check-ins/outs (RMS);
• Stock control;
• Local area marketing and management of third party websites;
• Park activity organization and participation;
• Staff supervision; and
• Night patrols & being available for after-hours call-outs.
Onsite 1 bedroom self contained cabin and utilities provided as part of the
salary package.
It is expected you will both have experience in a similar role/environment
