The Salvation Army
Aged Care Plus Community Care services are currently looking for permanent part time
Personal Carers
to join the team. This role involves morning and afternoon shifts and will be a
minimum of 20 hours per fortnight.

The purpose of this
role is to provide quality care based on clients’ needs that promotes quality
of life, and enhances the ability of individuals to maintain their independence
and remain within their homes in the community.

The job includes
providing domestic assistance and support including cleaning, ironing, etc. and
will be based in the

local areas within Northern Brisbane.

To succeed
in this in this role you will need:

• A genuine caring
and compassionate nature and enjoy supporting people of all ages who have a
moderate, severe or profound disability or a condition that restricts their
ability to carry out activities of daily living
• Own a roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle and current Drivers
Licence (fuel allowance provided)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate
• A willingness to travel in the local area to visit consumers.
