Our client has recently acquired the assets of a
large scale gold mine in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western
Australia. The plant has a capacity of processing 1.2
Mtpa. Their immediate plan is to re commission the processing
plant. To achieve this they have identified an immediate requirement for
a Maintenance Superintendent – Fixed Plant.

The role of Maintenance Superintendent will be to
put systems and processes in place to ensure a smooth commissioning and ramp
up. Beyond that the focus will be on maximising fixed plant availability in the
most cost effective manner whilst ensuring all personnel are working safely in
following the company’s procedures whilst meeting production and development
targets.

The key function of the role will be to implement
best practice and;

- Ensure all Maintenance activity is completed
in a safe, cost effective and productive manner and assist in building a
positive safety and work culture. - Ensure the safe operational integrity of all
equipment is never compromised. - Continually review, modify or replace systems
and practices to foster a process of continuous improvement during
commissioning and ramp up in to steady state operations. - Oversee the planning and execution of
scheduled plant shutdowns.
We seek expressions of interest from suitably
qualified and experienced maintenance people who would like to explore this
exciting opportunity in more detail. We envisage the successful candidate will
be trade qualified, have spent at least 5 + years in a similar role, be very
hands on and driven.

The position can operate from a DIDO roster from
Kalgoorlie or a FIFO roster from Perth. Attractive salary and working
