Our Region:

halfway between
Cairns and Brisbane and is the
Mackay-Isaac-Whitsunday regions economic powerhouse of Queensland. The Isaac
Region encompasses 58,862 square kilometers and has an estimated
population of approximately 23,000.  This diverse population is made up of
families, young people, workers, retirees and sea/tree changers.
The Isaac Region is spread across larger towns of
Clermont, Coppabella, Dysart, Glenden, Mid-dlemount, Moranbah, Nebo

and St
Lawrence and the smaller communities of Carmila, Clairview, Greenhill and
Ilbilbie. It also includes the Clark Creek, Kilcummin, Mackenzie River, Mistake
Creek and Valkyrie communities.

Our Role:
The ideal person for this role will be an
experienced recruitment specialist with strong understanding of the recruitment
industry and possess skills to lead and drive the Recruitment Team through a significant
change program. You will ensure that strategies are implemented in
identifying new opportunities and markets to attract, recruit and develop high
quality staff to achieve business outcomes. 
The role of Program Leader Recruitment, will be both
challenging and rewarding. You will have responsibility for overseeing the
day-to-day operations and performance of the Recruitment Team, leading and
driving new processes and
systems, developing attraction strategies and managing candidates. To be
effective in this role you will be a natural leader who works closely with the
business in order to provide guidance and support.
To be successful in this position you will have
tertiary qualification in Business or Human Resources or associated field with a
minimum of 5+ years’ experience at a senior or management level.  The
successful candidate will possess previous experience working as a Recruitment
consultant and can demonstrate a proven track record of success in the industry
and dealing with executives and senior managers.  You must also have the
ability to plan effectively, prioritise and deliver strong problem solving
skills.  You will frequently travel within the region to deliver
relationship focused recruitment across the organisation.
An attractive salary will be negotiated with the
successful applicants.  This package will include five weeks annual leave,
leave loading, flexible working conditions including a 19 day month, laptop
computer and additional superannuation benefits.  The successful candidate
may be able to access subsidised housing and study options.
