Seeking a Head of User Experience (UX) Design to lead and support a team
of talented UX Designers building experiences for consumers and brands.

We are looking for an experienced design mind who can provide the vision and
spread the culture of design innovation throughout the product team and the
across entire digital organisation.  This senior leadership position
reports to the UX Director with the responsibility of defining and delivering
world-class user experiences to companies across Australia.

 Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experienced UX leader with a track record of
    leading a team of designers and researcher.
  • Proven track record in communicating and
    interacting with senior leadership, senior clients and industry analysts
  • Experience of formulating and communicating of
    User Experience plans and reviewing accomplishments
  • Successful coaching and development of UX team
    career path and opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent
    written, oral communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse industry, consumer and digital
    trends to be able to envisage the future and lead groundbreaking work
  • Be the face of UX for the agency, with ability to
    provide innovation advice to clients and peers often ‘on the spot’
  • Social media savvy with frequent commentary on
    industry topics developing trends
 Core Competencies:
  • A degree or equivalent in a design based
    discipline.
  • A proven talent for taking complicated user
    journeys and interactions and making them simple, easy and a pleasure to
    use.
  • A personal interest in usability best practice
    and the techniques used in improving interaction design
  • Attention to detail, a deep understanding of
    digital design and associated issues.
  • Confident communicator, able to contribute to
    client meetings and pitches.
  • Maintain a focus on user research to develop a
    deep understanding of users’ needs and uncover hidden opportunities to
    enhance the experience.
  • Recruit and hire new UX talent
  • Workflow and time management, to work to strict
    delivery deadlines.
  • Deliver both enterprise and consumer experiences
    that delight users—we want our business users to love our experiences.
