THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development
Manager to join our team during this exciting period in which we’ve embarked on
a new strategic direction! You will be responsible for driving the delivery of
quality learning and development programs across ANGLICARE and will facilitate
ongoing education to ensure the delivery of high quality, person-centered
services in line with our learning and development strategy. This position is a
12 month maternity leave contract based in our Parramatta Head Office (walking
distance from Parramatta train station and several bus stops).
Working as part of the People, Learning and Culture division of ANGLICARE which
provides a variety of employment related services, this is a hands-on role
which requires innovation, self-direction and sound leadership skills as you strategically
lead a team of 3 staff in line with our Learning and Development Framework.
This is a

interaction with managers across the organisation and carry out various project

ESSENTIAL
CRITERIA
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have:
• Experience working with external training providers including RTOs
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
• Excellent people management skills
• Clear and succinct communication and business writing skills
• Experience and ability to deliver training
• Initiative and able to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to be flexible, handle a range of tasks and prioritise own
workload
• Exceptionally organised with a accurate attention to detail and time
management skills
• Relationship management and negotiation skills
• Current driver’s licence
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to deliver
training programs
This position would suit a committed Christian with an active church
involvement in alignment with the principles and values of the Anglican Church
in the Diocese of Sydney.
