Build-A-Bear Workshop, the world’s leading make-your-own-stuffed-animal
retailer concept is actively looking for an enthusiastic, vibrant person to
join our company on a full time basis in the pivotal role of Planning and
Managing our inventory. You will work Mon – Fri in a modern, clean environment
in our offices situated in Moorabbin and will have had experience in ordering
procedures, stock planning and stock management, freight management, logistics
and a sound knowledge of warehousing principles and procedures

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

network in order to meet customer satisfaction and driving
profitable sales growth

submitting orders to our overseas suppliers and follow up of
shipments within allotted time frames,

managing inventory planning and stock replenishment for both promotional
and core range products working in conjunction with the Chief Executive and
Marketing Manager

ongoing identification, investigation, reporting and actively resolving
inventory opportunities including development of range, maximising margins and
achieving KPI’s

maintenance and operational control of our Intranet reporting system

· The
person filling this role is essentially required to ensure inventory is
available when required with minimal out of stocks, optimising delivery time
lines and stock holdings and will work closely with the marketing team to drive
and promote range in the stores consistent to the seasons fashion

To be considered for this role you will possess:

will have solid inventory management experience.

Previous experience working in a retail environment as Inventory Manager/Controller/Planner
is ideal

team player with well-developed computer skills in Microsoft and, preferably,
