Motel is currently seeking an experienced, friendly and enthusiastic manager /
management couple to manage our 3.5 star property in Albany WA.

restaurant and bar is currently leased and is rated one of the top two
restaurants in Albany. The owners are currently building additional facilities
and renovating the property with the goal of reaching 4 Star status within 9
months. The major addition will be a new kitchen and café which will service
guests separately from the existing restaurant.

add value and seize the opportunity that this Motel presents. To be suitable
for Property Management you must have: Proven hands-on experience within the
Motel Management industry Sound computer / reservation systems experience ( be
proficient in Word, Excel) and have had previous accounting and extensive PMS
experience. Actively source and build relationships with key corporate
accounts, travel agents and travel management companies. Develop & manage
group and coach bookings Develop relationships with key tourism operators Meet
or exceed monthly revenue targets General bookkeeping data entry / accounts
payable / receivable experience. Training on the specific accounting package
will be conducted by management with local support available if required.
Ability to manage and maintain hotel website and inventory on 3rd party
websites such as Wotif and Booking.com on the Site Minder platform. Pool &
general maintenance / handyman ability Experience in coordination of building
works and renovations Food and beverage experience as you will be expected to
do / assist in breakfast and café meal preparation. Ability to prepare and
present professional reports Candidates will have exceptional communication
skills Great organisational skills Can do attitude Exceptional customer service
skills that ensure guest expectations are exceeded Develop, train and grow an
exceptional team of employees whilst maintaining wage control You have a great
existing team. Developing and training these staff and utilizing them fully
will be crucial to the success of the motel. Sundowner Inns are part of the
Silverneedle Hospitality Group and you will report to and be supported by the
State Manager and his team. You will have direct access with the owner
especially regarding building and renovations. We require current motel
management related references. Appropriate salary package will be offered and
includes, large 2 bedroom manager’s residence, mobile phone and fuel allowance.
Employment terms and salary package will depend on experience and be negotiated
