Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the primary
pur
pur
pose of this position is to co-ordinate despatch team activities to ensure
that all glass movement is processed on time, in an acceptable condition that
satisfies customer requirements, by the safest, most cost effective method.
This role will be based at our state of the art facility in Clayton South.
Ideally you will have extensive knowledge and
experience in Warehousing & Despatch operations in a fast paced manufacturing
environment (glass experience highly regarded). You will be proactive, have a
strong continuous improvement outlook and possess leadership abilities and be a
strong communicator. In addition, you will be a great team member who can work
as part of a small cohesive team with strong attention to detail and the
ability to follow instructions.

This is a busy hands on night shift team leader
role working Sunday-Thursday nights 10pm-6am.

On securing a position with Viridian, you will work
across a range of machinery in a variety of tasks so a strong awareness and
understanding of Health & Safety is essential. There will be some manual
work and lifting involved therefore you will need to be physically fit. Other
duties include, but are not limited to:

· Interfacing with the Warehouse & Despatch
Manager on issues like: annual leave, sick leave, rehabilitation,
multi-skilling of employees and labour utilisation.

· Maintaining high quality
· Advising Area Supervisor/Manager is advised of any
