Icatchers Visual Communication Manager Job Vacancy in Australia

icatchers is a fast growing and dynamic company based
in Rocklea that specialises in the design, construction and installation of
custom exhibition displays in Australia and overseas.
We are seeking a highly motivated person to manage our
signage department using our large digital format printer and flatbed printer.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and co-ordinate the companies
    printing/graphics production.
  • Carry out all printing/graphic related
    tasks. 
  • Inspect first-run work pieces and verify
    conformance to specifications to check accuracy of machinery setup.
  • Read working drawings and job orders to determine
    product specifications in conjunction with Project Managers.
  • Confidently operate Agfa flatbed printer, Roland
    roll to roll digital printer and Roland vinyl cutter.
  • Carry out basic maintenance on all sigh shop
    machinery and equipment.
  • At times create and manipulate client artwork
    files to suit printing requirements.
  • Manage the ordering requisitions and receiving of
    printing media and sign department related materials.
  • Communicate with all sections of the
    business/clients to maximize smooth processing and delivery of jobs on
    time.
Skill Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
  • Current drivers licence
  • Exceptional skills in operating
    Illustrator/photoshop software
  • Strong productive communication skills
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic and
motivated, have strong oral and written communication skills. Have a strong
knowledge of computer software applications within the sign industry.
