The position is mainly focused around providing OT
services for Orthopaedic Rehabclients with the option of
completing up to 5 mental health groups per week within the same hospital.

The positon includes Orthopaedic OT treatment for a
wide range of conditions including hip and knee replacements, amputee, cardiac
and neuro patients. OT services include home visits, equipment prescription,
discharge planning, comprehensive OT intervention and service coordination for
clients in and around the area of Orange.

The majority of the case load i
s adult based, however
there is private work that can take many shapes and case load mixes.

- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current member
with AHPRA - Eligibility for membership to AAOT NSW
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence Class C
- Experience and or Extensive Knowledge in
providing Occupational Therapy Services in a Rehabilitation, Aged
Care and in the Acute hospital setting. - Demonstrated organisation and time management
skills - Demonstrated ability to work independently and
within a multidisciplinary team - Demonstrated experience in conducting home
assessments and equipment prescription including wheelchairs - Experience across inpatient and outpatient/
community - Experience with basic cognitive testing
- Experience working in the Mental health setting
and running groups (Desirable). - Experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation
setting (Desirable) - Experience with Botox/Serial casting (Desirable)
- An understanding of OH&S and EEO policies and
procedures(Desirable) - Experience in working in rural/remote country
