Silver Chain are currently looking for
a Care Aide to join the supportive team in Kalgoorlie on a
permanent Part Time basis; please note applicants must be available 4-5
days a week and be flexible with day, evening and weekend shifts.

Listed below are some major accountabilities for this role:
- Deliver
care and support to clients in accordance with the care plan and Silver
Chain’s policies and procedures. - Support
clients to retain control of their own lives and build on their existing
skills to improve or maintain overall function, health and wellbeing. - Develop
and maintain an awareness of the emotional and physical needs of carers to
ensure services are provided to support their caring role in the
community.

The
Ideal Candidate
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate
III in Community Services (Aged Care Work and Home & Community Care) as
well as, but not limited to, the following:

- Strong
communication, time management and organisational skills. - Demonstrated
problem solving and decision making skills. - The
ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate. - Demonstrated
skills in personal care and housekeeping, including food preparation. - A
current driver licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
