and Family Services Ballarat has a long history supporting families, dating
back to 1865 with the Ballarat Orphanage and Ballarat Children’s Home. Although
our programs and services have changed since these early days, we are just as
committed and passionate to helping children and families in need today. Our
Board is drawn from the communities in which we serve and our team delivers a
range of programs to support children, young people and families.

counselling, men’s behaviour change programs and foster care. CAFS provides
help and support to more than 5,000 individuals and families each year across
the Victorian Central Highlands region. CAFS provides housing services across a
number of programs including Homelessness Support Services, Opening Doors,
Creating Connections, Tenancy Support and Advocacy.

provides in-home support to address concerns about the wellbeing of children
and families. We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced
professional to join the Ballarat team in a case management position.
This role focuses on providing therapeutic support through engagement with
clients, consultation, assessment and evaluation.

Tertiary
qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Welfare are required.
Experience working with families in a therapeutic or child protection setting
is preferred, and an understanding of the impact of trauma and attachment
interruptions is essential.
