both ABN Pty Ltd and PAYG Contractors

This
well known Tier 2 national builder requires a Site Foreman on a 4-month
contract basis to help deliver an aged care development in Western Sydney. This
is part of a national roll-out of fire sprinkler upgrades to Aged Care
facilities. Working over a 4 month programme

(Monday-to-Friday with the
occasional Saturday) you will perform the modification works in an
occupied and live environment.

On a day-to-day basis you
will:

Manage
all sub-contractors
Manage
the specialist sub-contractors – fire sprinkler installers
Reading
and interpretation of plans
Establish
the site in accordance to strict OH&S policies
Communicate
with the client and residents on a regular basis.
Be
highly accommodating and have a personable demeanour as you will be
working in a live and sensitive environment surrounded by residents of the
care home
Prepare
and administer any defects

To be
suitable for this role, it is anticipated that you will possess the following;

Have
around 5 years experience in a Supervisory capacity
Can independently manage
projects to $500k – $1M in value
Ideally
will have worked on fire-upgrade projects in the past
Will
have managed projects in a live / occupied environment
Strong
communication skills
Have a
strong focus on Safety and OHS
