are currently assisting our client, a renowned national infrastructure business
to source a Contracts Specialist to be based in Brisbane.
This role is responsible for the efficient and accurate high level construction
agreements and the compliance around this.
Duties and objectives include:
· Compiling monthly and weekly
operation and financial reports.
· Development of action plans
to mitigate risk
· Able to development and
implement robust commercial contracting strategies.
· Develop and administer
commercial contracts, insurance, securities and performance guarantees.
Knowledge and experience required:
· Minimum 7 years solid
experience in a similar Contracts or Procurement role within a projects based
environment.
· Full end to end Contracts
experience.
· Demonstrated ability to
understand and interpret contracts and procurement documentation.
· Ability to convert strategy
into action and achieve targeted outcomes.
· Good level of business,
contractual and financial literacy.
· Ability to work under
pressure, meet targets and deadlines.
· Demonstrated initiative,
capacity to solve problems and make decisions to achieve objectives.
· Understanding of Project
Management principles.
· Ability to effectively
communicate with, persuade and influence others.
· Degree qualified in finance,
business, legal or engineering.
· Business administration and
or Procurement qualifications/ certificates along with relevant experience.
