We are seeking a committed
and professional Senior Accountant who is focused on continually expanding
their skills. This is a mixed role, dealing with both Tax and Business Services
for our diverse client base.
The successful
person will have an in depth knowledge of tax advisory and business services.
They will be committed to providing the highest level of service to clients
whilst continually developing within the organisation.
The ideal candidate
will have experience managin
g a small team of professionals. They will be able
to manage workloads and deadlines within their team, to ensure timely
completion of tasks.
The Senior
Accountant will also have sound management skills, in terms of developing
successful working relationships, mentoring junior staff, handling grievances
and communicating effectively within their team.
The Senior
Accountant – Business Services will possess the following:
A
minimum of 6 years professional experience
CPA
or CA qualified
Possess
a proven track record of working within the professional practise arena
Have
a genuine interest and passion in tax
Experience
and ability to manage a team of professionals
Possess
a high level of oral and written communication skills
Capability
to undertake research and present the information to clients coherently and
professionally
A
professional, approachable manner and ability to build relationships with
clients and colleagues
Be
self-motivated and display a high level of initiative
Take
responsibility for professional development and learning
Advanced
MS Excel and PowerPoint skills (graphs, pivot tables, presentations)
Exposure
to Simplefund and MYOB, Reckon, Xero and Quickbooks is preferable (not
essential)
