Fasham Homes are a long established
and highly respected player in the building and construction industry who pride
themselves on their individually designed and contemporary houses.

As part of a small
team, an excellent opportunity exists for a highly experienced and
proactive Estimator to take responsibility for the ordering of goods and
materials for all projects, selecting from a list of approved suppliers 30 – 40
homes per year.

Every home is
different which provides new challenges for each estimating role adding variety
on an ongoing basis.

Working closely with
the Contract Managers you will :

• ensure
  all necessary details are present to enable accurate ordering of materials
• resolve
  any discrepancies or conflict of information prior to raising orders
• take
  off quantities from drawings and documents

Your advanced
analytical skills will allow you to prepare job budgets prior to costing and
issue orders to suppliers using company templates.

Having strong people
skills and excellent communications skills will assist you to professionally
handle supplier queries while negotiating quotes for materials required outside
of supplier agreements.

Critical is your
ability to be well organised, keeping all information up to date  in order
to respond quickly to requests for information from the Finance and
Construction/Building Managers.
