solution of Deeper Maintenance and Operational Maintenance for the Royal
Australian Air Force’s Hawk Lead-in Fighters

As
an experienced and qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have the
opportunity to work alongside the best in the industry and enjoy the variety
and excitement of working in both deeper maintenance and operational
maintenance on one of Australia’s Fast Jet fleets. The following opportunities
exist in Williamtown, New South Wales and in Pearce, Western Australia:
  • Shift,
    Flight Line, Aircraft Life Support and Armament Team Leaders
  • Qualified
    Aircraft Maintenance Engineers: Avionics, Aircraft Life Support, Armament
    and Mechanical
The
work scope will encompass in-depth maintenance of aircraft and all flight line
activities including:
  • Launch
    and recovery;
  • On
    site management support to ensure smooth running of the entire outfit; and
  • Deployment/away
    base operations
To
secure an opportunity that will see you working on an unparalleled solution
within Australia you will need to possess:
  • Aircraft
    maintenance engineering/trade qualifications to Certificate IV level
  • Good
    knowledge of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations and
    procedures
  • A
    strong team work focus paired with excellent problem solving skills
  • A
    demonstrated commitment to safety, health and environment policies and
    procedures within an aeronautical environment
  • The
    ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
Hawk
Lead-in Flighter (LIF) platform experience is highly desirable but not
essential; above all we are seeking candidates who are agile, adaptable and
committed to exceeding customer expectations.
This
recruitment campaign will take a phased-in approach. Please be mindful positons
will be recruited on an as need basis over the next 3-6 months.
International
Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality
may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
