aspect of their lives.
The Roles:
Working in a permanent position, you will be using your knowledge, skills and
passion in Early Learning to create a safe and secure environment which enables
children to play, learn and grow. With a supportive and friendly team of
educators you will work in line with the centres philosophy, goals, and
legislative requirements ensuring that all appropriate regulatory requirements
are being constantly adhered to.
Our client currently has a number of Diploma positions available in different
age groups within the Early Learning setting. These positions have flexibility
in the level of leadership and responsibility within the rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop,
plan and implement educational programs for children in-line with the
Early Years Learning Framework. - Monitor
and document all children’s learning and development. - Develop
open communication with stakeholders of the service. - Create
a safe, secure and stimulating environment for all children which fosters
their growth and development. - Ensure
that a developmentally stimulating learning program is planned and
implemented for each child. - Supervise
children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times. - Communicate
effectively with the families of each child on all aspects of their
development and growth at the centre. - Comply
with the centres policies and procedures along with current licensing
requirement, National Regulations and Legislations. - Mentor
and guide staff - Assist
in the development and implementation of the centres Quality Improvement
Plan.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- ACECQA
approved Diploma of Children Services, or Working Towards - Current
Working with Children Check. - Current
First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates. - Strong
knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the ability to
holistically apply all outcomes to the development and implementation of
programs and documentation. - Knowledge
of the National Quality Framework and the National Quality Standards. - Experience
assisting in the development of a Quality Improvement Plan. - Strong
written and verbal communication skills. - Child
