client is a leading global provider of innovative Sample to Insight
technologies, and a key player in the forensic community. They have
been supplying reagents and instrumentation for sample preparation to analysis,
to forensic laboratories for over 15 years, and have been a forerunner in
quality initiatives for this market.

Reporting
to the Head of Sales yo

u will be responsible for growing the Applied Testing
business, with a primary portfolio focus on HID (Human Identification) products
and services, and a secondary portfolio focus on Vet and Food. By interfacing
closely with Market Development, Applications, Sales and Technical/Customer
Support, you will create and execute account sales strategies, build
relationships with key account stakeholders, build and communicate value
propositions, overcome barriers and objections, and negotiate opportunities to
a close so that budget targets are achieved for ANZ. You will maintain
technology, market, customer and competitor knowledge through attendance and
contribution to regional and national trade meetings; and you will manage
projects to support special applications at customer sites, utilizing
Application labs and resources.

Your
ability to support other account team members through successful implementation
of business and territory plans will ensure your success. You are highly
strategic and customer focused with strong consultative selling skills; you
have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to
multi-task and you are punctual, with good time management. Frequent travel
throughout ANZ is expected.

Qualifications
and experience:

Bachelor
of Science (minimum) essential
Forensic
laboratory casework/Paternity testing experience is preferred
Demonstrated
experience operating HID automation systems or related instrumentation,
products and software is required
Exposure
to NGS workflows and applications desirable
Proven
track record in sales
Experience
or knowledge of Vet and Food markets desirable
