- Wide
open plains location with opportunity to develop strong advocacy skills
with varied casework in traditional communities. - Report
to senior staff statewide and locally to our Regional Manager in a
friendly team environment. - No
billable hours, plenty of diversity and support. - Develop
cultural competence legal skills while addressing significant range of
case work in family, domestic violence, human rights and other civil law
work, and learn a new approach with child protection for Aboriginal &
Torres Strait Islander families and communities. - Demonstrate
your flair, resilience and commitment to strong application of the law in
a social justice environment. - 2years
PAE ideal, but not essential. - Advocacy
capacity is essential as there is significant expectation of courtwork,
tribunals, and for those outside of the Restricted PC, hearings. - Qld
Practising Certificate (or ability to gain one promptly) and Driver
Licence essential.
