are looking to appoint a Conciliator on a full-time, fixed-term contract.

The
main purpose of this role is t

o conduct conciliation conferences and facilitate
negotiations to resolve disputes between Financial Service Providers and
applicants.
To
be considered for this role you will ideally have:

- Training
and accreditation or experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR),
in particular conciliation or mediation. Alternatively, a qualification in
law that includes study of ADR; - Minimum
two years’ experience conducting conciliations or working in a dispute
resolution role. - Knowledge
of financial services and products; - Excellent
oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate
complex legal and/or financial concepts in plain English. - Strong
written and analytical skills; - The
ability to manage a caseload in an efficient, fair and timely manner with
a clear customer focus on achieving timely and fair outcomes; and - Ability
to work autonomously and as part of a team
