responsibilities for this position include; licensing, capacity, provisioning,
costing and efficiency related tasks on this platform.

- Liaise
with IT business, application and Enterprise architecture for Strategy and
Design relating to Databases - Accountable
and responsible for managing server capacity requests and forecast. - Manage
engagement with Oracle Support teams for Exadata hardware support - Strong
knowledge of the Oracle licensing model - Drive
Platform efficiency including related performance analysis - Platform
governance reporting and oversight - Collaborate
with Database Team Leads for Database Solution Design and costing - Knowledge
of the Oracle product suite - Liaison
with suppliers and technology support groups - Assist
the Database Manager providing thought-leadership and platform related
analysis - Single
point of contact (internal/external) for all infrastructure related
information
Required

& Recovery concepts - Exadata
Management experience - AIX
and Linux (or Unix in general) - Storage
