The
Role:
Role:
The
position reports operationally to the local General Manager, and functionally
to the Technical Director based in the APAC region. Two supervisors report into
the role, one managing a national team of Service Engineers and the other
Applications Specialists. Based in Melbourne, you will:

- Proactively
lead and provide direction within the group
- Provide
high quality customer service and technical support
- Manage
the Australian training facility in Melbourne
- Act
as a key technical resource
- Provide
customer focused technical support
- Develop
and train the Engineering and Applications teams
- Mentor
and provide feedback on performance.
Your
Background:
Background:
Engineering,
Clinical Applications and/or Business qualifications are preferred and
applicants must have a solid background in the following:

- Management
of a technical team
- A
diagnostic or medical equipment background. Experience in the IVD industry
will be an added advantage
- Experience
as a Service Engineer, or in Clinical Applications, for complex
Diagnostics or Medical Equipment
- Management
of large implementation projects
- Strong
people management and development skills
- Ability
to foster a cohesive, high-performing team
- Strategic
focus.
