exciting career opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Mechanical /
ESD Engineer to join the Edmonds, Seven Hills team.

Reporting
to the Operations Manager – Edmonds, your main responsibilities will be to
provide in house technical consultancy on the application of natural, hybrid
and powered ventilation solution to the business. This role would require
energy modelling, CFD modelling and validation on commercial and residential
buildings. You would also be responsible for the project management of standards
development, building code submissions, product compliance, product testing,
technical documentation and development of sales tools.

of your daily tasks will include:

- Carry
out energy modelling, CFD simulation and building science calculation to assist
the business and customers with product solutions - Provide
mechanical, hybrid and natural ventilation systems calculation for new
construction and/or renovation projects for local and international
customers - Liaise
with stakeholders such as project team, consultants, clients, contractors
and suppliers on matters related to international and local building codes
and standards and sustainability compliance such as data compilation,
calculation, verification and submission - Provide
key internal stakeholders with expert engineering advice and develop tools
to assist the application of Edmonds products - Project
manage product performance, compliance testing and the interpretation of
results to support marketing and sales.
The
ideal candidate will need to have excellent written and technical communication
skills, be an innovative team player, have a mechanical engineering degree and
also have exposure across the following areas:
