Tutoring Advantage
provides one-on-one, in-home tuition to high school and university students.
We are looking to recruit experienced tutors to match student enquiries all
over Sydney. Competitive rates of pay are available for successful applicants.
Subjects
Tutors must be able to teach one of the following subjects to at least the HSC
level:
- English
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
An ability to tutor
at a higher standard or in other subject areas is an advantage.
Experience
& Skills
Applicants must either:
i) have tutoring experience at HSC level in a relevant subject area; or
ii) be a qualified teacher.
Additional desirable
attributes include:
i) excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
ii) a thorough knowledge of the NSW high school syllabus;
and
iii) the ability to independently prepare lessons for
students.
About the
role
Tutors work independently, set their own work hours and can take on as few or
as many students as they wish. Enquiries will only be sent for students in your
local area.
Tuition typically takes place in a student’s home, so the ability to drive to
students’ homes is an advantage.

Remuneration
$35 – $45 per hour
