This is an

Reporting to the
State Manager-Vic/ Tas with an informal reporting line to the Chief Executive
Officer, you will support the use & enhancement of services, by building
& construction sector stakeholders, to avoid or minimise the damage to
underground assets. This will entail developing & implementing a
program of stakeholder engagement meetings; completing building &
construction worksite visits, assessing & reporting on the extent of
awareness and use of processes to avoid damage; and identifying future
opportunities for service enhancement. Engagement with the utility
sector, at an operations level, is also part of the role so experience and
existing relationships & networks in that sector will be highly regarded.
Ideally, you will
possess tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, a trade or an equivalent
amount of experience in the management of building & construction site works.
This will include an understanding of the materials used in civil engineering
works, the capability of reading drawings & plans, and an understanding of
relevant legislation / regulations. A proven track record in project and
/ or contract management, within the Building & Construction Sector is
ideal as is a strong commitment to occupational health & management
systems. Your interpersonal skills, influencing capabilities and ability
to forge sound stakeholder relationships, from the ground up, to operations
management level are essential.
