This job requires someone
who ‘is’ a teacher, not just someone who ‘teaches’ as a job. Our educators feel privileged to work with
the children and families who have become the Jescott community and who in
return, support and appreciate our endeavours. Jescott has been a home away
from home for hundreds of children over the many years it has been operating.
We make strong and lasting ties with families, with many of our students
visiting for ye
ars after they graduate. Our reputation as a high quality centre
was recently affirmed by ACECQA who rated our service as EXCELLENT.
Your role will be to team-share
in the care and education of the children using the principles of the Montessori
philosophy. If you believe in the outcomes of the EYLF then you will easily
understand how well this describes our practice. If you are new to Montessori,
you will be mentored and supported.
You must be highly qualified and
eager to add your experience as a new ingredient to the team. Bachelor ECE or
Dip ECE required. You must be skilled in writing and computer literacy. You
will be required to assist the Director with organising and preparing parent

and a genuine warmth that attracts the trust of children. If you play a musical
instrument be sure to let us know.
This rare opportunity to join our
close knit team of educators will offer a wonderful work environment, ongoing opportunity
for professional development and a sanctuary to truly experience the
rewards of the profession you chose.
