Located in the heart of Domain Road, Gilson
will be a 125 seat brasserie open from early until late 7 days a week. Our

We are a humble hospitality group

accommodating in an inviting environment. Our established café in Armadale –
Mammoth known to push the boundaries with it’s menu yet still offers brunch
classics, whilst our newly opened pizza restaurant in Northcote – Primo offers
a modern twist on the traditional trattoria.

We are looking to recruit an
enthusiastic Restaurant Manager with strong leadership skills, a dynamic
personality and an eye for detail.

Your goal is to ensure guest
service standards are exceeded at all levels. You will also be
required to assist with annual operating budgets and responsible for maximizing
profitability. You will have a passion for training and development of front
line staff, supervisors and your assistant manager.

The right candidate must possess
a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role in a high volume operating
venue. You must have excellent organization and communication skills with the
ability to achieve outstanding sales results.

  • Be ambitious and willing to commit to a flexible
    schedule; incorporating weekends and nightshifts.
  • Possess great leadership skills, a positive attitude and
    excellent guest relations
  • Excellent service standards, displaying a humble warm
    attentive approach
  • Strong food & beverage knowledge
  • Stock control and management
  • Staff management including; recruitment, rostering,
    training, performance management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Coordination, execution and evaluation of promotions for
    both the venue by creating external marketing and internally with staff
    competitions.
  • Fiscal management including labour and COG’s management
  • PnL understanding
  • Possess good computer skills
