Job tasks
and responsibilities
The warehouse and
service manager is to ensure efficient practices across;
• Goods inwards,
• Goods outwards
• Stock accuracy,
• Service and repairs,
• Resource planning, and
• Warehouse cleanliness
This is a hands on
role, the successful applicant will be required to lead by example
Skills and
experience
•
Knowledge of quality principles and standards
• Adequately plan resources
• Familiar with KPI’s
• Proven problem solving ability
• Understanding of reporting and communication lines
Technical
• Forklift license
• Service Management experience desirable
• Computer literacy skills
• Knowledge of process and procedures
• Knowledge of SAP B1 or similar system desirable
• Knowledge of cycle counting and stocktaking
• Sound knowledge of pick and pack operations
People
• Negotiation & influencing skills
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to motivate teams
• Positive attitude
• Conflict resolution
This is a full time
role, reporting to the Operations Manager, with an immediate start.
