2-3 year old room
We are looking for a
friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing certificate 3 trained educator to join our
wonderful team at Treetops @ Kirrawee, a 30 place child care service for
2-5-year old’s.
We are looking for a
room assistant in our 2-3-year-old room, who can work full time, Monday to
Friday, 40 hours per week, shift times change monthly. Previous experience
working in a child care service IS ESSENTIAL, as is a willingness to learn
The 2-3 year old
room has 10 children per day. And you will be working alongside a
fantastic room leader, who was the previous room assistant and has moved
up to room leader. She is Certificate 3 trained and is starting her
Diploma training. The 2 other staff in the 3-5 year old room are a Certificate
3 educator and an early Childhood teacher. We also have a trainee to
float around and assist with clean up duties and covering ratios for
programming. Staff are superstars and get along superbly.
Programming staff
get 3 hours per week in the office to program and we use the Kinderloop
app to assist us. Each room has their own IPad to take photos and upload
to Kinderloop as the daily diary. As a room assistant you will have no
programming duties. We have had our assessment and rating visit in May and been
given the high rating of Meeting the National Standard.
The director also
owns the centre and works in the kitchen as well as the office. With a
background in childcare a lot of compassion and resources are put into the
centre.
