a BMS Technician you will be actively involved in the maintenance and
commissioning of multiple client sites across South East Queensland.  You
will be a proactive problem solver with impeccable custom

er service skills and
enjoy building long term relationships.  You will bring with you a solid
knowledge of BMS systems and DDC controls, and also have a good technical
understanding of HVAC plant and equipment.

The
Role:
  • Your
    daily tasks will include service, preventative maintenance and
    commissioning of BMS/DDC Controls.
  • You
    will commission, service, fault find, repair and provide maintenance of
    Building Management Systems.  This work will include software
    configuration, testing and commissioning, calibrations and maintenance
    diagnosis, repair and basic programming.
  • You
    will exercise proper control over work in progress, ensuring speedy job
    completion.
  • Demonstrate
    exceptional customer service by meeting clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Being
    able to work autonomously to deliver a project from start to completion,
    within the company guidelines.
  • At
    all times carry out your work in a safe manner and adhere to the company’s
    WHS systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Existing
    skills and experience in Building Management Systems.
  • Experience
    and sound knowledge of HVAC/BMS systems are essential as is a sound
    working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP and communication networks generally.
  • Qualifications
    in Electrical / Air Conditioning trade.
  • Demonstrated
    ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A
    strong customer focus, work ethic and ability to provide a consistently
    high level of building maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and
    equipment.
  • Fault
    finding and problem solving skills.
  • Pride
    in delivering quality service for your customers.
  • The
    ability to build excellent relationships with your customers.
  • A
    current, valid driver’s licence.
  • Excellent
    oral and written communications and reporting skills.
  • Strong
    computer skills including hardware setup, MS Office and databases.
  • Strong
    communications and time management skills.
  • Attention
    to detail.
  • Well
    presented, well spoken, trustworthy, reliable.
