Profile of the Candidates
• The post holder must have a degree in a natural science, development, engineering or energy related subject, or equivalent standard of education.
• 3 years working experience in M&E related environmental issues and development context.
• Good management and co-ordination skills, with experience of technical project implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good team spirit.
• Experience in writing project reports and management plans.
• Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel to remote areas within the region.
• Experience and skills in training and transfer of knowledge.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge in use of computer software packages for word-processing, databases and spreadsheets, internet.
2. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (1)

Profile of the Candidates
• The post holder must have a degree in a natural science, project development, engineering or energy related subject, or equivalent standard of education.
• Have at least 3 years working experience in R&D related environmental issues.
• Good management and co-ordination skills, with experience of technical project implementation.
• A broad perspective and the ability to integrate energy with other disciplines are important.
• Good management and co-ordination skills, with experience of technical project implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good team spirit.
• Experience in writing project reports and management plans.
• Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel to remote areas within the region.
• Knowledge in use of computer software packages for word-processing, databases and spreadsheets, internet.
3. ENERGY INFORMATION SYSTEM MANAGEMENT EXPERT (1)

Profile of the Candidate;
• The post holder must have a university degree with a major emphasis in computer information systems or a related field.
• Two years of on-the-job experience in computer information systems maintenance and support.
• Must have knowledge of all Microsoft Windows platforms, and Microsoft Office Professional software with the ability to develop and expand applications and capabilities to address workplace needs.
• Must have knowledge of personal computers and all common peripherals, including monitors, printers, modems, and other connection, communication and storage devices.
• The ability to perform basic diagnostic, maintenance and support operations for all existing computer equipment.
• Maintains confidentiality about information learned on the job.
• The ability to report for work on time and perform job responsibilities in a timely manner in order to meet scheduled deadlines and performs the duties of the job for a complete workday.
• Possess temperament, good judgment and human relations skills to deal and communicate with the public and the other employees.
4. STRATEGIC AND SPECIFIC STUDIES OFFICER (1)

Profile of the Candidates;
• The Strategic and Specific Studies Officers must have a University Degree in Science, Business or Engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical /Physics).
• Substantial experience in both commercial and technical energy related roles in an energy intensive industry.
• Previous experience in an energy consulting company is an asset.
• Experience in the development, negotiation and management of high value strategic/specific energy procurement contracts including power long-term supply agreements.
• Experience in leading/participating in projects teams.
• High level of written and verbal communications skills.
