It mainly deals with meal production and marketing activities. The company is managed by a Board of Directors made up of 5 members elected for a three-year term of office. The daily management of the Company is entrusted to the Managing Director appointed by the Board of Directors.
The company is composed of three departments, namely the Production and Quality Control Department, Sales and Marketing Department and Administrative and Financial Department. Today, it has 36 permanent staff members.
SOSOMA Industries Ltd would like to recruit the Head of Sales and Marketing under the following conditions:
Monthly salary : RWF 560,000;
Other incentives :- Medical care covered by RAMA for the employee and his/her family;

I. Major Attributions:
1. Define Marketing Strategy;
2. Develop corporate marketing business plans;
3. Train the company staff in marketing techniques;
4. Conduct market research needed by the Company;
5. Ensure on a regular basis quality customer care;
6. Coordinate stand activities in fairs, exhibitions, festivals;
7. Ensure the implementation of product marketing policy and formulate sound recommendations for its improvement;
8. Conduct market survey for new markets;
9. Assess competition status and propose sound measures to survive in a competitive environment;
10. Evaluate the usefulness of setting up showrooms and salesroom for company products and ensure their management.
11. Ensure effective implementation of Sosoma Marketing Strategies to achieve set targets
12. Supervise and motivate our vendors and distributors to achieve set performance targets
13. Create distribution strategy for region and ensure optimal distribution coverage
14. Identify and implement market penetration strategies for growth and development
15. Ensure regular visits to vendors and distributor accounts to monitor and advise on operational efficiencies
16. Plan and supervise sales promotions
17. Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
18. Analyze market growth potential in all over the country and provide relevant feedback
II. Required Profile
– At least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertisement, Management or related field;
– Have at least 6-year work experience in Marketing, preferably in industrial or commercial businesses;
– Have at least 5-year work experience as Head of Marketing in industrial or commercial businesses;
– Be able to work as part of a team;
– Have proven writing skills;
– Have sound organizational capabilities;
– Be computer literate: Excel, Word, and knowledge of Commercial and Accounting Management Sage Software Package would be added value;
– Be honest and with proven integrity;
– Be fluent in Kinyarwanda, French and English;
– Show courtesy and good manners;
– Have a driving license, Class B.
