World Vision GIK Systems Administrator Job Vacancy in Rwanda

Our client World Vision is a Christian, Child focused, Humanitarian, Development, Relief and Advocacy implementing projects/programmes in over 14 Districts of Rwanda and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the vacancy above;

Job Objective:
Responsible for maintaining accurate GIK records and track all commodities from point of reception to the point of distribution and produce high quality reports using the commodity tracking system.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be the custodian of all records and commodity data ensuring that they are kept in a safe place and according to WVI standard
• Generate and receive data on commodities from warehouse for the purpose of capturing and analyzing through CTS and producing accurate reports for management
• Develop a verification process of all the data entered in the CTS. Maintain communication channels with ADPs and Partners to address discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of all CTS data.
• Maintain all CTS system documentation materials and make recommendations for adjustments as would be necessary.
• Review the functionality of the CTS system and suggest necessary modifications or enhancements for future improvements.
• Support the CTS installation of the system as required by ensuring reliable user help channels over emails, telephone, multimedia content and the internet.
• Consolidate all the GIK CTS reports per shipment and ensure that it balances up with what was received and distributed.
• Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual reports that meet WVI standard and donor reporting requirements and submit to GIK coordinator/manager.
• Produce high quality donor specific reports upon request or as required
• Ensure compliance to donor and WVI regulations through regular internal audits and program reviews. Implement all pending and current audit recommendations.
• Any other duties assigned by the GIK Head from time to time
• Attend and participate in weekly chapel and daily devotional meetings

Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in Computer technology, Management, Accounting, business administration.
• 2 years of experience in Commodity or warehouse Management
• advanced level knowledge of Computer, excel and accounting
• Technical Training qualifications required: Commodity Tracking System Certification
• Christian commitment /passion for children wellbeing
• Good skill in human relationship
• Must be Rwandan
