ZippCard pre-paid debit cards in Rwanda in partnership with Bank of Kigali. CFS
is already operating in UK and Uganda and is now expanding through East Africa.
Position/Role
CFS is looking for a Sales Manager who will build, develop and manage the sales
team to grow sales volumes through a wide range of target sectors in line with
the business plan.
As this is a start up company and a new concept for the people of Rwanda we are
looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person able to grasp new concepts and adapt
in a fast changing environment, build, motivate and manage a sales team whilst
also having the attention to detail to ensure standards and procedures are
adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities
• Provide a work environment that engenders positive energy, creativity and
teamwork among employees.
• Recruit, train and develop the Sales Team to ensure growth targets are
exceeded through a broad sector of clients
• To assist with the development of the business plan and long term growth plans
for the business
• Ensure effective planning of resources to maximize Sales within agreed budgets
• Ensure training and product knowledge is kept up to date within the sales team
and clients as the products and services develop
• Co ordinate advertising and marketing alongside Bank of Kigali to maximize the
awareness of the Zippcard programme
• Be the representative and spokesperson of the company at meetings and
functions to manage the profile of CFS.
Qualifications/Experience
• At least 3 years experience in Sales Management
• Strong background and work experience in building and developing diverse teams
• A demonstrable ability to exceed growth targets
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Ability to develop and manage the business within a budget
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional & ethical standards
• High comfort level working in a diverse environment
