SUPERVISOR DURATION DATE: Business Operation Associate Director
DURATION: 5 Months (renewable based on performance)

The consultant is responsible for managing PSI Rwanda´s information systems and technology needs. This includes, among others, ensuring that PSI Rwanda´s technological needs are consistently met and maintained.
The Consultant reports directly to the Business Operations Associate Director, and is based in Kigali, Rwanda.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Maintain and keep smooth running of E-mail system; this includes minimizing email service interruption, and designing/implementing anti-spamming solution.
• Maintain internal and external network connectivity (LAN, Internet/Intranet, VPN-if any, etc.)
• Establish common standards for software and hardware
• Ensure staff have the skills needed for the use of computers and software at all levels; provide training if/when needed
• Design and implement a data security system for the organization; this includes an automated backup system.
• Support knowledge management efforts by implementing adequate solution for sharing data, information or documents (Intranet or other approach).
• Support the design, development and maintenance of management systems for various functions within the organization; this will include human resource, warehouse/assets, logistics and sales management system, database and computer applications.
• Ensure management of the computer and communication system (including telephone/PBX system) for the Platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The independent consultant must have at least 4-years of experience in the field of IT management,
• The independent consultant must be MCSE and LINUX certified. Any Cisco certificate is an added advantage,
• The independent consultant must have proficiency in firewall technologies
• The independent consultant must provide proof of having worked on Linux based e-mail system
The ideal candidate will be proactive, will be able to multi-task and handle working in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
STATUS:
•This is a consultant position, based in Kigali
