Job Description :
The Private Sector Federation (PSF) mission is to advocate effectively and reinforce
members’ businesses. Since its inception in 1999, PSF has matured into the apex
organization for business in Rwanda combining unique access to business, experienced
service delivery and partnership with various private sector development stakeholders.
With the assistance of Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA), PSF would like to recruit a media consultant to organize production of Radio and Television programs for the period of one year. The programs will be produced under the coordination of PSF Head of Communication and Marketing.
The programs will be produced with the aim of informing members and stakeholders of the significant achievements, changes and especially promoting its services to members and support the advocacy agenda and influence both public and private sector policy-making processes, activities and decisions.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Production of 30 minutes monthly Radio Talk show
• Production of monthly TV Talk show
• Conducting interviews for the programs
• Photo and Video coverage for key events
• Production print/hard copies of the above
Minimum Profile
• The applicant should be PSF registered member;
• A Minimum experience of 3 years in the production of Radio and TV programs
• Advanced skills in radio and TV production software (Adobe audition, premiere, etc)
• Proven skills in conducting interviews
• Proven skills in photography
• The consultant must have or be well linked to a well equipped and professional studio
for recording and editing purposes
• Excellent knowledge of English, French and Kinyarwanda
• Able to work under stressful conditions
INTERESTED:
Interested applicants fulfilling the above mentioned criteria are invited to submit their
application documents addressed to Chief Executive Officer including detailed profile of their firm, CVs of at least 3 technicians with the required technical knowledge, samples of their work in that field ,( CD, DVD of produced programs, etc). The expression of interest must be handed in the form of separated technical and financial proposals at PSF reception, Gikondo, not later than the 7th September 2012 at 05:00 PM.
