Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) was created by the
law no54/2010 of 25th January 2011 establishing Rwanda Biomedical center
(RBC) and determining its mission, organization and functioning. The vision
of the RBC is to become a Center of Excellence for the prosperity of the
country, ensuring quality health service delivery, education and research. It
has a mission of promoting quality affordable and sustainable health care
services to the population through innovative and evidence based
interventions and practices guided by ethics and professionalism. 
To achieve
RBC mission and mandate, the RBC is looking for qualified candidates to fill
the following vacant posts in its different Divisions ;
1. Medical Purchasing Officer in charge of
pharmaceutical products (2)
  • A0 in Pharmacy. Experience in procurement
    and/or supply chain is an advantage
2. Medical Purchasing Officer in charge of
Laboratory Commodities (1)
  • A0 in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences. Experience
    in procurement and/or supply chain is an advantage
3. Contract and Purchasing Documents Processing
Officer (3 )
  • A0 in Pharmacy. Experience in procurement
    and/or supply chain is an advantage
4. Technical Coordinator (1)
  • Master’s degree in business administration
    or management with experience in supply chain ; pharmacy or related
    fields backed with experience in administration or management in the
    supply chain domain.
5. Legal Advisor (1)
  • Master’s degree in Law with 5 years of experience
6. Planning Officer (1)
  1. Qualifications
  • Masters in public Health or Masters degree
    in Economics or Health financing
  • Experience
  • A minimum of three years in Health related
    programs
  1. Skills
  • The ability to work at a senior level,
    liaising directly with key internal and external stakeholders ;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills ;
  • High level IT skills, with extensive and
    advanced expertise in MS Excel and experience of Financial
    Systems ;
  • Fluency in English and French is required
7. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (1)
  1. Qualifications :
  • Masters degree in Public Health or A0 in
    Applied statistics or related field
  • 2 years of experience in the health sector
  1. Skills
  • The ability to work at a senior level,
    liaising directly with key internal and external stakeholders ;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills ;
  • High level IT skills, with extensive and
    advanced expertise in MS Excel and statistical software ;
  • Fluent in English and French
8. Database Manager (1)
  • A0 in applied statistics, Computer Science,
    Public Health or Epidemiology
  • Other related training with an experience (2
    years minimum) in M&E of diseases programs
  • Master of IT tools-particularly database management
    software,
  • Be dynamic, aware and able to work as a team
  • Fluent in English and French
9. Other Prevention Specialist (1)
  • Must be Rwandan by nationality and Degree in
    Human Medicine, With :
  • Relevant experience in HIV Programs is
    required ( At least 3 years)
  • Experience in Male circumcision surgery
    department is a plus
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel ;
    Power point, SPSS, Epi – Info, …)
  • Fluency in English and French and technical
    working skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal,
    leadership, communication, technical writing and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of the Rwandan Health System
10. Director of Diabetes and Other metabolic
diseases unit (1)
  • Rwandan Nationality
  • At least Bachelor degree in Medicine with a
    strong experience in clinics of at least 3 years
  • Knowledge in diabetes and other metabolic
    diseases management is an asset
  • Strong analytical and in interpersonal
    skills
  • Computer knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Good
    knowledge in French, or the reverse
11. Injuries and disabilities Officer (1)
  • Rwandan Nationality
  • Masters in Public Health with background in
    nursing or other related health allied sciences with a strong experience
    in clinics of at least 3 years
  • Knowledge in injuries and disabilities
    management is an asset
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Computer knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Good
    knowledge in French or the reverse.
12. Paediatrics Specialist (1)
  • Must have Rwandan Nationality and A0 in Medicine
    with a master in public health Epidemiology, or related filed ;
  • 5 years experience in the HIV/AIDS program
    specifically in Paediatric program is required
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal,
    leadership, communication, technical writing and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of the Rwandan Health System
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Computer literate
13. Prevention and Treatment of Blood borne
infections (1)
  • Must have Rwandan Nationality and A0 in
    Nursing with ;
  • Demonstrated experience and training in
    Health Science with 3 years experience in HIV/AIDS and blood-borne
    infections Programs
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal,
    leadership, communication, technical writing and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of the Rwandan Health System
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Computer literate
14. Director of Printery Unit (1)
  • Be a Rwandan by nationality
  • A degree in electro mechanics with 3 years
    of experience.
  • Must have good knowledge of ICT
  • Have perfect knowledge in data processing
    tools word, Excel, Power point, Access.
  • Have perfect knowledge of English and or
    French
  • Be able to work in any requesting conditions
    with minimum supervision
  • Provide national identity card or passport
