The role
The Education Signature Programme Adviser is
accountable for the strategic direction and technical support of the Rwanda
Education Signature Programme which focuses on the provision of a continuum of
services for children aged 0 – 9, focused on supporting learning outcomes and
early grade literacy. As a member of the Program Development and Quality (PDQ)
team in Rwanda, the Education Adviser is responsible for overseeing the
development of a high quality, innovative education programme that delivers
immediate and lasting change for children, as well as monitoring the quality of
its implementation.

Among key responsibilities the Education Adviser

Qualifications and experience
- Master’s degree in education, social science,
policy or equivalent fields - Significant field experience in education
program development, management monitoring and evaluation, policy research
and advocacy - Experience working with high level government
agencies and academics on issues related to education is desirable
