Vision for a Nation Rwanda is the Foundation’s
first national level programme with the aim of providing all Rwandans aged 8
years and above access to vision assessments and eyeglasses to all who need
them.

The charity is looking for a new Country Manager
who will be based in Kigali and will assume overall responsibility for managing
all aspects of the Vision for a Nation programme in Rwanda. The Country Manager
will manage the country office and local team, and play a key role in ensuring
the nationwide training of nurses is successfully completed and the new Health
Centre service is delivered to the highest standards in keeping with Vision for
a Nation’s community-driven approach.

overall guidance and supervision of Vision for a Nation Foundation’s Executive
Director. On a day-to-day basis, the Country Manager will be expected to work
in close consultation with Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education
representatives, as well as Eyecare NGO representatives based in Rwanda.
